Hyderabad: Making a political comment, Union minister for state for social justice and empowerment Ramdas Athawale has asked YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to join BJP-led NDA in the wake of political circumstances prevailing in Andhra Pradesh.
“We welcome Jaganmohan Reddy into NDA and will help YSRC leader to become Chief Minister of A P if he joined NDA” Athawale said.
Stating that the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has taken a hasty decision in leaving NDA ,the union minister said the Modi government would have taken appropriate decisions had Chandrababu Naidu continued in NDA.
Taking a dig at Congress president Rahul Gandhi , Athawale said the constitution would be protected at any cost by prime minister Narendra Modi and his party, but Rahul Gandhi should protect his own party.(NSS)
