Hyderabad:.Two Union Ministers Smriti Irani and Giriraj Singh will visit Maggam Telangana Vastra Show to be held on September 27 at N-Convention at Madhapur at 5pm. Muralidhar Rao, National General Secretary of BJP will also join the show.
Talking to the media here today, M Rajamahender Reddy, Program Convener, said it will be a Fashion Show of weaves of Telangana. The objective of the show was to showcase the talent of Telangana Weavers to the nation. The Telangana weavers have so much talent that they can weave a saree that can fit in a match box.
Weavers from several clusters such as Gadwal, Siddipet, Kotthakonda, Uppada, Mahadevpur and Mangalagiri and so on will be invited to the show, he added.
Maggam Telangana Vastra Show will be organized by Centre for Bharatiya Management and Development (CBMD) to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation, to support the cause of handloom apparels
