Union MoS Kishan Reddy demands ₹10,000 for Warangal flood victims

Hyderabad: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy today demanded the state government to give ₹10,000 as monetary relief to all the flood victims of Warangal town in the same manner as it did in the state capital. He said also demanded the state government to fix the monetary flood relief as ₹10,000 in the entire state.

He made these remarks while addressing media persons during his Warangal district visit. Speaking on the occasion he said that he was associated with the Warangal City since 1996 and added that he knew every book and cranny of the historic town. He said that the central government was committed to the development of Warangal city. He said that his visit to Warangal was delayed due to his preoccupation with the article 370 revocation bill and Covid 19 virus.

He alleged that the Ayushmann Bharat scheme of the central government was not being implemented in the state due to the illogical thinking of the CM. He alleged that the CM was obstructing the provision of health insurance to the poor people of the State. He said that the center had allotted ₹5 crores for safe drinking water, Bhadra kali temple development, thousand pillar temple development and junction development, and sewage water treatment plant in Warangal.

He alleged that the state government as not allotted CM single penny for the development of Khazipet Dargah despite the fact that the center had allotted ₹1 crore for its development. He assured that the central government would set up an airport at Mamnur if the state government had allotted land to it.
