UP Assembly Elections 2022 Witness Confusion Of Two ‘Ps’ Amidst BJP, SP

Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh elections and the parties consistently taking a dig at each other the confusion over the letter ‘P’ has stirred another set of controversies. In the latest update, there has been a slinging match between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Samajwadi Party in UP.

The Confusion Of Two ‘P’ Jains

As per the top sources, Piyush Jain and Pushpraj Jain have been at the centre of the political storm in the state. They apparently share the same profession and locality in Kannauj. This led to confusion within the tax officials who raided Piyush Jain’s house last week. This led to one of the biggest seizures in the history of the country with sacks full of cash, silver, sandalwood and gold.

Taking a dig at SP, the BJP announced that Piyush Jain was the person who had launched the ‘Samajwadi Itr’ in November and insisted on his links within the party. As the team kept finding cash from the walls of Piyush Jain’s house, the BJP questioned SP’s role and their share of the treasures.

Jumping in, was also Prime Minister Modi who had linked the ‘bad smell of itr’ to Piyush Jain’s black money while Akhilesh differed.

Akhilesh Yadav Clarifies The Confusion

The clarification came two days later after the photographs of the stacks of the money recovered went viral over social media. Akhilesh Yadav informed that Piyush Jain was not the one linked. But the one who belonged to their party was “Pushpraj Jain”, also known as Pampi.

Following this, he turned the allegations towards BJP and claimed that Piyush Jain was a BJP supporter.

With the confusion resolved, the authorities changed their paths and raided the houses and offices of Pushpraj Jain on Friday. The details of the raids have not been released yet.
