UP Man arrested for killing 2 minors, claimed he ‘liked’ murdering people

Etah (Uttar Pradesh)The Uttar Pradesh police arrested a man when he was about to kill his elder brother with an axe.

The 30 year old accused has been called a psycho by the police as he allegedly said that he enjoyed killing people.

He had previously murdered two of his nephews, both were minors, and was preparing to kill three more people.

RadheyShyam, the accused, isan intermediate pass man residing in theDharmpur village under the Etah district.

Shyam had killed the two minors by strangling them to death. One of the victims was six year old Satyendra, Shyam’s elder brother’s son and five year old Prashant who was the son of his cousin Raghuraj Singh. He killed Satyendra on February 4th and Prashant on June 9th.

Sakrauli Station House Officer (SHO), Kritpal Singh, told the mediathat in the later half of June 11’s night, Shyamtried to kill his elder brother Vishwanath Singh who was sleeping.

Their relatives found him while he was attempting the murder and immediately dragged him to the police station. Fortunately, Vishwanath wasn’t harmed.

During interrogation, Shyam confessed to the heinous crime and also claimed that he ‘liked’ killing people and wanted to kill three more. He could have turned into a serial killer if he wasn’t caught.

Etah Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar Singh said, “The accused has confessed to have killed two of his nephews, and disclosed that he was about to kill three more people. He is a psycho killer and takes pleasure in killing people.”

Earlier, the police had arrested three individuals, including a woman, suspecting them of murdering Satyendra. Meanwhile, three others were sent to the jail in Prashant’s case. After Shyam’s arrest, police are preparing to revoke the FIRs against the innocent people to release them soon.

Shyam’scase was heard in the Magistrate on Saturday and was sent to jail following the witnesses’ statements and the accused’s confession.

The crime rates in India have been increasing, even after the lockdown and the deadly pandemic.

Cases of such mentally unstable killers have been reported in the past as well where the accused were pleased with their horrendous acts.

A man nicknamed as Pyscho Shankar had reportedly murdered about 30 people, including rapes and robbery in the southern part of India.

Minors too, have repeatedly been victims of these acts and lost their lives. A man in Uttar Pradesh had murdered his two daughters, aged 4 and 10 years, by hitting them with a hammer and later set them on fire.
