In a statement, the Department said Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Attorney General Merrick B. Laurel on Wednesday basically met with delegates from Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, the UK, and the European Commission, to send off the Russian Elites, Proxies, and Oligarchs (REPO) multilateral task force.
The task force was first declared on February 26.
“The task force, comprising of Finance Ministry and Justice or Home Ministry in every part ward, each perpetrated to involving their separate experts working together with other fitting services to gather and share data to make substantial moves, including sanctions, resource freezing, and common and criminal resource seizure, and criminal indictment,” said the statement.
Yellen said “our authorizations, exchange limitations, and different measures have proactively forced huge expenses on Russia, its initiative, and the people who empowered (Russian President Vladimir) Putin’s ridiculous attack into Ukraine”.
