Hyderabad: TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Wednesday alleged that the BJP government at the Centre and the TRS government in the State were taking several decisions that would affect the interests of the weaker sections of the society.
Referring to the verdict of the Supreme Court on the SC, ST reservations, the TPCC chief said SC had said the SC and ST reservations were not part of the fundamental rights of the respective communities. Speaking to media Persons here, he said the party would hold a massive dharna on the issue at dharna Chowk on February 16. He said they were strongly condemning the arguments made by the advocates appointed by the ruling BJP. He made it clear that such arguments were completely against the basic ideas of the Congress party.
