Hyderabad: Kalwakurthy Congress MLA Ch Vamshichand Reddy has assumed the charge of AICC secretary in-charge of Maharashtra Congress party affairs today at Mumbai in the presence of AICC general secretary and Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge, Maharashtra PCC president and former Chief Minister Ashok Chavan and AICC secretary and Alampur MLA SA Sampath Kumar.
Vamshichand immediately participated in a meeting to chalk out an election strategy along with another AICC secretary and Alampur MLA SA Sampath Kumar. Speaking on the occasion, Vamshichand said the party activists have to take the “anti-people” policies of BJP government to the people. He also stressed the need of defeating the BJP at the Centre and make AICC Chief Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister. (NSS)
