Hyderabad: Prominent Kapu leader from Coastal Andhra Pradesh Vangaveeti Radha on Sunday resigned from YSRC party. He made bitter remarks against the party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy after resigning from the party. The son of former politician Vangaveeti Ranga, Radhakrishna sent his resignation letter to the party headquarters.
According to the details his supporters Radhakrishna resigned from the party as he was disappointed by the advice of Jagan to contest from Vijayawada east assembly seat. Radhakrishna demanded Jagan to give him ticket to Vijayawada central Assembly seat. Although, Radhakrishna wanted to leave the party a couple of days back, Senior Party Leaders like Vijayasai Reddy and others convinced him to not leave the party and wait for some more days.
In a fresh development, another leader of the Botsa Satyanarayana spoke to Radha for more than one hour personally. However, Radha made it clear to him that he would continue in the party if he was given Vijayawada central seat. Following this, Botsa left the office without any result. Later, he sent his resignation letter to the party headquarters. He made it clear to Jagan that he was not dependent on anybody for his political future and added that he would continue his fight on his own.
With his resignation, political corridors of Andhra Pradesh state are abuzz with the next course of action of Radha. While some are saying that he might join the ruling tdp some are saying that he might join Jana Sena Party. It is also widely speculated that the TDP might invite him into the party and offer him Vijayawada central seat by denying ticket to its sitting MLA Bonda Umamaheswar Rao (NSS)
