The Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) has invited the resolution adopted by the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly against the Citizen Amendment Act (CAA).
MP Thirumavalavan Supports Bill Against CAA
Thol Thirumavalavan, MP and VCK president in an assertion on Wednesday said, “The Union government has been expressing that it will carry out a National Register of Citizens dependent on CAA. It is contending that each resident in India ought to demonstrate that they are for sure residents by showing the archives of their progenitors.
“A few crores of Indians don’t have any land or property in India and could wind up losing their citizenship. The state government ought to thus ask the Union government to stop the NRC work out.”

The VCK pioneer said that the CAA would prompt significant vulnerability among individuals of the country.
Addressing IANS, Thol Thirumavalavan said, “The DMK government by moving a Bill against the CAA has given extraordinary equity to individuals of Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu Congress Committee Invites The Resolution
The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee likewise invited the resolution against the Citizen Amendment Act (CAA).
The state leader of TNCC, K.S.Alagiri in an assertion on Thursday said, “The CAA is against the Constitution of India and the Narendra Modi government is attempting to undermine the fundamental privileges of the residents of India. The Constitution gives the option to proliferate and follow any religion in this nation and the CAA grabs away this right and is unmistakably unlawful.”
The Tamil Nadu Congress president likewise said that the party has consistently been in the front line against the CAA and said that the Tamil Nadu unit of the party has directed a few projects contradicting the CAA which was against the constitution of the country.
Alagiri told IANS, “The Tamil Nadu government under Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has passed a goal against the CAA which is hostile to protected and we invite this. The Congress party was at the bleeding edge in the resistance to the CAA in the nation and we have directed fights across Tamil Nadu. We invite the choice of the Tamil Nadu government in passing this goal.”
