Hyderabad:Demanding that the State government expose the people behind encroachment of hundreds of acres of government lands at Balapur Devathalagutta, Congress senior leader V Hanumanth Rao has sarcastically said the TRS government would have sold the world famous Charminar if there were no courts in the State.
Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Wednesday, VH said he would visit Devathalagutta lands on July 12. He also accused the Chief Minister of sidetracking the slain gangster Nayeem’s case by handing over the case to SIT.
Responding to a question, VH clarified that he was not against TRS Rajya Sabha member D Srinivas coming back into the Congress party. “I only said DS has to attend before Consultations Committee before joining Congress party”, he said and made it clear that his party would welcome anyone who could benefit the party.
