VHP Calls To Restore Small, Big Hindu Temples Starting From Kashi

Ahead of Diwali, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) called their members and common people to assist for the restoration and proper functioning of the temples located in the villages and localities.

Restoration of Temples To Start From Kashi

As per the organisation, the Regional Organization Secretary of Eastern Uttar Pradesh, Gajendra said that people from all over the country have supported the building of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. He said that the organization believes that along with Ayodhya, the temple of each village and locality should also be equally grand and should become the centre of faith and religious rights for the people.

He added for the sake of the same, he has called upon the VHP workers and office bearers to select a temple in their respective areas and begin the process of restoration. The initiative is to restore and build small and big temples alike located across villages and different localities. The restoration will begin from Kashi.

The organisation will not only be taking help from the local people but is also willing to cooperate with the resources. If there are any difficulties during the maintenance of the temple, then the workers of the organization will assist in that as well, Gajendra ensured.

He informed that the help would be in the form of finances and labour. The office bearer informed that the temples will also be used to discuss the problems that are faced by the local people during daily Satsang.

He further said that such temples can also become centres for family satsangs. And be used to spread the message of harmony in the society. The temples can also be used to play the role of integration of Hindus.

VHP Urges Centre To Give Hindu Temples To Hindu Society

This comes after VHP recently requested the Centre to bring in a law that would free the Hindu temples and other religious institutes from government control. They said that the state governments should hand over the Hindu temples to the Hindu society.

VHP’s International Working President Alok Kumar informed the reporters that there were mass conversions going on in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He said that these conversions are based on deception and fear. The VHP shall resist such activities and intensify the campaign to bring the converted individuals back to Hinduism.
