In a shocking incident, villagers in Guruvannapeta village of Komaravelli mandal in Siddipet district took the law into their own hands, setting fire to the house of a man accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl.
The incident occurred this month following the confirmation of the sexual assault by medical professionals. According to reports, the girl, a Class 7 student, was alone in the village when the accused took advantage of her solitude.
Upon learning of the heinous crime, enraged villagers and relatives of the victim stormed the accused’s home. They not only set fire to the house but also damaged vehicles, including a car and a JCB, parked in front of the premises.
