Volunteer System Is Aimed at Transparent Implementation of Schemes : YS Jagan

Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy today said that they had introduced the volunteers system in order to implement all kinds of welfare schemes in a transparent manner.

Addressing a gathering at the Jagananna thodu program, he said that rival TDP was not able to digest their welfare rule. He said that the people of the state were observing the attitude and the behaviour of the TDP and added that the rival TDP   leaders were using foul and abusive language like no other political party of the state. Stating that they also discharged the role of the opposition political party in the past, reddy said that they never used foul  language like the TDP leaders. He alleged that the TDP leaders were trying to provoke people deliberately. He said that the TDP would not mind even create communal tensions in the state.

Speaking further, Jagan said that he had seen the problems of small businessmen and vendors personally during his marathon padayatra and added that the scheme would help the push cart vendors, handicraft workers, and traditional community-based professionals besides the small businessmen.

He said that they were releasing ₹10,000 interest-free loans every year to the beneficiaries under the scheme. He said that they would hold the program twice a year in the month of June and December and added that they  would  also give loans to those who repaid them on time/

The CM released the interest subsidy amount into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries of the Jagananna todu welfare scheme at the event held at his camp office.

He credited ₹16.36 crore of the interest subsidy into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The interest amount would help those 4.5 lakh vendors and small businessmen who have repaid their loans on time after availing they under the scheme. The state government has so far released ₹950 crore to 9.05 lakh beneficiaries under the scheme.
