Hyderabad: A village revenue officer working at the Shamirpet Tahsil office was trapped by the sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau when he allegedly demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 20,000 from complainant on Wednesday.
According to the ACB officials, VRO, Venkatesh had allegedly demanded the bribe from M Mallesh for issuing a passbook pertaining to his land. Following a complaint, the ACB officials laid a trap and nabbed him.
