Water supply to be shut for 2 days in Hyderabad- List of areas affected

Citizens of Hyderabad are requested to prepare themselves for a scarcity of water for 2 days beginning May 27th as the water department will shut down the supply to pay heed to repair requirements in the system.

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) proposed the shutdown of water supply where many areas of the city will be affected.

The disruption of water will stay in place from 6 am on May 27th to 6 pm on May 28th. According to officials, the decision has been taken to complete the work in the Manjeera system junction along with several other repair works to fix water leakages at many places within the system. These leakages lead to wastage of water and illegal connections. As such, the HMWSSB appealed to people to carefully use water to suffice for their 2 days need.
