State Industries minister KTR today said that they would set up industries in all backward areas of the state and added that their priority would be the decentralization of the industries in the state.
Stating that the central government has not fulfilled its promise to give incentives for the rapid industrialization of the State in the AP Reorganisation Act, He urged the central government to give incentives to the State at least this year. Replying to the questions raised by the MLAs on the issue of the industries set up under the TSIPASS scheme during question hour, he said that a total of 15326 Industries had been approved under the scheme during the last six years and added that a total of 11954 industries had commenced their operations so far.

He said that they have attracted Rs.213431 crore under the scheme. He said that they assessed that a total of 1552672 jobs could be created through the investments made so far and added that 767829 people had been employed under the scheme so far. He said that the aroma Nirbhar Bharat scheme of the center had not helped the state in any manner.
