Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, accompanied by his wife Shobha, son K Tarakarama Rao, and other family members today made a visit to historic Rameshwaram temple in Tamil Nadu and offered special prayers. On arrival earlier, the temple officials and priests offered the Chief Minister of Telangana with traditional welcome with “Purnakumbha”.
The Chief Minister and his family members visited famous places and temples, including Dhanushkoti, Rama Sethu, Panchamukha and others. The Chief Minister took a close look at the temple and its maintenance, architecture and cleanliness and appreciated the officials.
KCR on Thursday visited memorial of former President Abdul Kalam and offered floral tributes to the “missile man” of India. Along with former minister KT Rama Rao, MP J Santhosh Kumar and others accompanied the Chief Minister during his Tamil Nadu visit. (NSS)
