A one day workshop on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for all designated Special Public Prosecutors from all over the State was held at the DGP office.
The workshop was inaugurated by Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge and designated Judge for Special Court for POCSO cases, Bharosa, K Sunitha, Swati Lakra, IG (Law & Order and Women Safety) along with Vyjayanthi, Director of Prosecutions, Telangana were guests of honour.
Addl Metropolitan Judge Ms. K Sunitha, Director of Prosecution Ms. G Vyjayanthi and all PPs of Telangana looking after POCSO Act cases attended.
Swati Lakra, who explained the objectives of the workshop and requested the officers to cooperate in getting 100 percent convictions in POCSO Act cases, also gave a presentation on the special court for POCSO cases.
