Yadadri temple collects Rs 91.19 lakh through hundi collection

For 18 days, the Sri Yadadri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple collected an income of Rs. 91.19 lakh. According to temple Executive Officer N Geetha, in addition to Rs 91,19,982 in cash, 50 grams of gold and two kilograms of silver were collected through the hundi collection.

Due to ongoing development work, the hundi collection was relocated to the Haritha hotel on the hill shrine. Because of the devotee offerings during the annual brahmostavams, which began on March 4 and ended on March 14, the hundi collection was quite high.

At Balalayam, temple priests conducted ashtothara shatha ghatabhisekam with 108 kalshas while chanting Veda mantras.

The temple priests also conducted a Homam at Balalayam to mark the end of the annual brahmostavams. The following Yadadri brahmostavam would be held at the main temple.

Yadadri receives a 1.058 kg gold donation from Gadari Kishore Kumar

Thungathurti MLA Gadari Kishore Kumar donated 1058 grams of gold on Friday for the gold plating of the Vimana Gopuram of Yadadri’s main temple. On behalf of his family and the people of the constituency, he handed over the gold temple to EO Geeta Reddy. Later, he inspected the temple’s reconstruction work and inquired about its pace and progress.

The MLA described CM KCR as a true Hindu with a strong desire to serve the community’s interests. He recalled how the Chief Minister used to perform the Ayutha Chandi Yagam for the benefit of the people and the state.

He praised the CM for committing to the development of all temples in the state and for establishing the Dhoopa Deepa Nivedyam programme in temples across the state. TRS district president Kancharla Ramakrishna Reddy accompanied him.
