Telangana state wing of the Indian Youth Congress today demanded the state government to immediately pay unemployed wages to all the eligible unemployed youth of the state.
The state president of the wing Shiv Sena Reddy said that it had been three years since the promise was made by the state government to pay the unemployed wages. He said that there was no job notification in the state for the last three years and added that youth by name Mutyala Sagar committed suicide as the state government failed to issue the job notifications. He warned the state government that they would lay siege around the state assembly if it failed to fulfil their demand.
He said that they held a protest program demanding the state government to pay the unemployed wages and added that they also paid tributes at the martyrs memorial in the city. Targeting CM KCR, he alleged that the CM had copied the promise of the congress party to pay the unemployed wages and kept it in his party’s election manifesto.
