Hyderabad: A day’s imprisonment and a fine of Rs 250 was imposed against one Mohd Sameer, 19, of Golconda fort area by XI Special MM Court under Sections 70(c) Hyderabad City Police Act and 290 IPC in a case filed by SHE Teams on March 22.
The prosecution said the accused has been harassing the complainant on phone and sending messages. Following a complaint, the SHE Team arrested the culprit and produced him before the court where he was awarded sentence, according to Shikha Goel, IPS, Addl Commissioner of Police, (Cr & SIT), Hyderabad .
