In a chilling incident, a 13-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped thrice by 11 men. The horrific crime took place in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh, according to the police, who said they have arrested 7 people in the matter till now.
The report comes amid the ongoing campaign of the Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government called “Samman” where awareness about crimes against women is being taken up over 14 days long drive in MP.
This week, at least 4 similar incidents took place that has enraged people and raised questions regarding the protection and safety of women in the state as filthy-minded criminals are still openly raping women.
The incident in question dates to January 4th when a young man known to the 13-year-old kidnapped her and along with his 6 friends, raped her for 2 days straight, the police said.
As the accused threatened to kill her if she tried to file any police complaint in the matter, the victim did not do so and was freed from their clutches on January 5th.
The torture did not end for the girl and she was kidnapped yet again 6 days later by one of the men who had raped her earlier. She was forced to live in jungles tied with ropes and in captivity in a roadside eatery as well while the man with his other 2 friends raped her again, according to the police.
The horrific tale doesn’t stop here as after she was let go, allegedly the victim was kidnapped for the third time. The kidnappers, 2 truck drivers, raped her too.
Somehow, the brutally assaulted girl managed to escape to reach her house early on Friday morning.
The family then informed the police of the incident on Friday following which several teams were alerted to begin investigation and searches for the accused.
Meanwhile, on January 9th, with assistance from 4 people, a man raped a 48-year-old in her hut situated in the Sidhi district. The prime accused inserted an iron rod into the private parts of the woman and is under police custody now along with his helpers.
On January 11, a 13-year-old girl was kidnapped, raped, and killed by her neighbor in Khandwa district.
After only a day, a young woman was horrendously assaulted by her husband, father-in-law, and other females of the house who helped them by cutting off her nose, breast, and other injured areas, over the suspicion of infidelity.
Just a day later, a young woman was assaulted by her husband and father-in-law, suspecting her of infidelity in the Ujjain district.
Currently, the victim is in a critical state and battling death. 2 accused have been arrested so far.
