1532 polling stations set up for ULBs polls on April 30

TRS, BJP, congress parties today conclude their campaigns for urban local bodies polls which is to be on April 30.

As scheduled by the state election commissioner Partha Sarathi, the polls arrangements are in place in all ULBs going for polls from 7 am to 5 pm.

Warangal Khammam corporations and five municipalities Nakirekal, Sidhipet, Jadcherla, Achampet, and Kothur going to polls. They are 1532 polling stations are set up to conduct the polls in a fair manner.

There are 11,26,221 voters to exercise their franchise in the polls on April 30 as the main political parties have wound up their campaigns.

For about 10 days the ministers, MPs, MLAs, and leaders conducted the campaign’s which came to an end three days ahead of the polls. Amid Corona protocols, the poll body arranged for the ULBs polls. The court asked the government why it was a hurry to hold the polls when cases surge. The Government assured of all protocols and conduct smooth pills.

Partha Saathi said that polls for urban local bodies will be conducted as per Corona protocols as scheduled earlier. Partha Sarathi has clarified that the polls for Warangal, Khammam corporations and other urban local bodies to be held on April 30 from 7 am to 5 pm. Necessary arrangements have been made in coordination with other departments for fair polls in ULBs.

Partha Sarathi said that the state election commission has instructed the officials concerned to follow Corona norms strictly for fair polls.
