According to the latest reports, a total of 40,936 eligible applicants have applied for the 5,204 posts of nurses that were notified by the Telangana government in December.
The Medical Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB), which is recruiting nurses, will conduct an online Computer Based Test (CBT) instead of a written examination, and the dates will be announced soon.
In addition to Hyderabad, the online examination for recruitment will take place in Warangal, Khammam, and Nizamabad.
At a review meeting on Tuesday, Health Minister T Harish Rao urged senior health officials involved in the recruitment of nurses to ensure that the entire process is transparent and efficient.
The Staff Nurse posts notified by the MHSRB include 3,823 posts under Director of Medical Education/ Director of Public Health and Family Welfare, 757 in Telangana Vaidya Vidhan Parishad (TVVP), 81 in MNJ Cancer Hospital, eight in Department of Disabled and Senior Citizens Welfare, 127 in Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society, 197 in Mahatma Jyotibha Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society, 74 in Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society and 13 in Telangana Residential Education Institutional Society.
Training program for nursing jobs in Japan
Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Limited (TOMCOM), a registered recruitment agency under the Department of Labour, Employment Training and Factories, Government of Telangana, is organizing a special program to train and recruit qualified nursing staff for work in Japan under the Government of Japan’s Specified Skilled Workers (SSW) scheme.
The selected candidates will receive residential training in the Japanese language as well as additional professional skills required to work in Japan subsequently in Hyderabad. Successful placed candidates can earn between Rs 1.20 and Rs 1.50 lakhs per month.
