448 SIs pass out of Police Academy after training

Hyderabad: For the first time after formation of Telangana State, 448 police sub-inspectors passed out of the National Police Academy here after undergoing rigorous training for nine months.

Chief Secretary S K Joshi and Director General of Police Mahendar Reddy were present at the passing-out parade in the Academy. Speaking on the occasion, Mahendar Reddy congratulated the police sub-inspector for successfully completing their nine-month rigorous training. He exhorted the sub-inspectors to follow and respect the laws of the land first and strive to make the people to abide by the laws. He also exhorted them to relentlessly strive to maintain law and order. Giving Bharosa (assurance) to the people, the police personnel should march forward with the policy of the friendly policing, he added. (NSS)
