5,000 TRS activists from Warangal West travel to KCR’s public meeting

More than 5,000 TRS party activists and leaders from the Warangal West constituency have left for Jangaon to attend the TRS party’s public meeting today evening, which will be addressed by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.

Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, West MLA and TRS district president, flagged off the special buses arranged for the meeting at the Hayagriva Chary ground in Balasamudram here on Friday.

About 100 buses had been arranged to transport party workers to the meeting, and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, in his capacity as party president, would address the meeting and explain the measures for the development of the State and the welfare of the people the MLA stated.  Gundu Sudharani, former chairman of KUDA, is the mayor of Warangal. Update on Covid Cases: Telangana reported 767 new Covid cases, with two fatalities.

Telangana reported 767 Covid-19 infections and two fatalities on Thursday, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,105 and the total number of positive infections to 7,81,603. As of Thursday, Telangana had 17,754 active Covid-19 positive infections.

A total of 224 Covid infections have been reported from GHMC districts, with 54 from Medchal-Malkajgiri and 52 from Rangareddy.

On Thursday, the health department administered 58,749 Covid tests, with the results of 1,590 samples still pending. On Thursday, a total of 2,861 people had recovered, for a recovery rate of 97.20 percent.

So far, the health department has administered 3,28,45,309 Covid-19 tests in the state, with 7,81,603 people testing positive and 7,59,744 people recovering.
