Nalgonda: The Nalgonda police produced the culprits in Pranay murder case before the media this evening.
Giving details to the media, district SP Ranganath said that the murder of Pranay took place as the boy and girl belongs to different castes. He said “they arrested seven persons. The murderer is Subash Varma from Bihar. We produced him in Samasthipur court for transit remand. Amrutha’s father Maruthirao made Subash to murder Pranay with an agreement to pay Rs 1 crore for the murder. In this case—Maruthirao is A-1, Subhash Sharma is A-2, Asghar Ali is A-3, Mohammed Bhari is A-4, Abdul Kharif is A-5, Maruthirao’s brother Sravan Kumar is A-6 and Maruthirao’s driver Shiva Kumar is A-7. Already there were cases against Asghar Ali and Mohammed Bhari.
Mohammed Bhari was living in Malakpet in Hyderabad. Bhari was acquainted with Maruthirao since 2012. Asghar Ali and Mohammed Bhari were known each other since they were in Rajahmundry jail. Miryalaguda Town Congress president Karim cooperated for the agreement. Pranay and Amrutha got married in January. They stopped their education abruptly due to love marriage.
Maruthirao threatened Pranay a few times. Pranay installed CC Cameras at his house for security. Maruthirao planned for murder for the first time in July first week. Karim spoke to murderers on behalf of Maruthirao. Karim, Asghar, Bhari planned for murder together. They discussed on deal while sitting in a car at Miryalaguda Autonagar. They entered into a deal with Rs.50 lakh and paid Rs 15 lakh in advance. They purchased one scooty to escape from the scene after the murder. They also purchased three fake sims to speak on the issue. Maruthirao tried to take his daughter for abortion. They also mounted pressure on the doctor. On August 14, marriage reception was held. Maruthirao was felt that he lost his honor in the society. On August 22, Subhash Sharma came to Miryalaguda.
The first attempt on August 14 was failed. The murderer had gone back while confusing to find out who was Pranay as Pranay was with his brother at beauty parlour. Subhash Sharma, Asghar Ali and Bhari will be to stay at murder place. Subhash Sharma, on August 22, asked Pranay’s father that whether they will give their car for rent. They were also tried to kill Pranay after kidnapping Amrutha in September first week. For this, they brought some others from Hyderabad. Asghar Ali left that effort as didn’t like their behaviour.
The murder took place on September 14 after noon at 1.30PM. Sharma followed the car on his bike. Sharma murdered Pranay following the directions of Asghar Ali. There were differences between Maruthirao and his brother Sravan Kumar. There was no relation with the murder to Sravan Kumar and Shiva Kumar. They helped Maruthirao only to escape from the place. He said that they burst the case within four days with the help of several agencies.
SP said there were no links to political leaders to the murder. There was no truth in the allegations came against former MLA Vemula Veeresham. Veeresham was also got married other caste girl. Veeresham spoke to Pranay’s father. There was no link to Nayeem followers with the murder. Maruthirao joined TRS party recently. Karim was continuing as Congress leader. Mohammed Bhari was continuing as MIM leader so that there was no political link with the murder. Even Amrutha’s mother didn’t know about the murder. Maruthirao made his wife to believe in him and to get the information of his daughter. He urged the people not to spread false news in social media. He said that the police would take up investigation if any one lodges complaint against Maruthirao’s land dandas. (NSS)
