Versatile actor Prakash Raj formally filed his nomination papers for the post of president of Movie Artists Association (MAA) today. The panel members of Prakash Raj also filed their nomination papers for different posts of the association.
Speaking to media persons after filing his nomination papers, Prakash Raj said that they were ahead of others on every issue related to the elections. He made it clear that the upcoming elections were like a completion for them and added that the voters would decide their victories and defeats. He said that he would declare their election manifesto on October 3.
He said that there was no need for political intervention in the elections of the association. Referring to the comments made by actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan , Prakash Raj termed the power start as a politician and added that Pawan Kalyan was fighting for the country while terming him as a good leader. He made it clear that Pawan Kalyan was also a member of the association.

Meanwhile, the panel member of Prakash Raj Actress Jeevitha Rajasekher, who is contesting for the post of the general secretary of the association, Said that Megastar Chiranjeevi could support any of the contest of his choice while making it clear that they don’t have any proof to prove that the megastar has extended his support to Prakash Raj.
Meanwhile, another aspirant of the president’s post CVL Narasimha Rao also filed his nomination papers for the post of president at the office of the association. He handed over his nomination papers to the election officer Krisna Mohan. Rao was later seen interacting with Prakash Raj for some time.
