Tourism & Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud said Pilot Sukumar Das from Hyderabad will represent the State and country in the 11th FAI World ParaMotor Championship 2022.
11th FAI World ParaMotor Championship 2022 will be held in Brazil in South America from April 20 to 30.
The minister said a plan is to set up an AeroSpace and Adventure Academy of 20 acres in Mahabub Nagar district.

“I will take up the matter with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to support the adventure sports. This will help youth get jobs in multiple fields of Air Force, Army, Navy and others”, he added.
He appreciated Sukumar at his chamber in the city and wished him success in future endeavors and winning laurels to the State and country.
Srinivas Goud said 150 competitors from 30 countries will participate in the adventure. “We are encouraging sports in the State as the Chief Minister was keen on supporting them.
