AIIMS Forensics hints Sushant Committed Suicide

(AIIMS) The All India Institute of Medical Sciences in its report to the (CBI) Central Bureau of Investigation hinted that the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was suicide and not murder. The sources reported Saturday.

Dr Sudhir Gupta whose under the AIIMS forensic panel was formed at the request of the CBI in August to assist in giving medical and legal opinion in connection with the death of the actor.

The forensic team in its report has hinted the death of Sushant as suicide. Thus, rejecting all the claims of strangling and poisoning made by the actor’s family and their lawyer. AIIMS sources reported.

The doctor of the AIIMS refused to share any more details as the matter is sub judice.

The remarks came after the AIIMS forensic body submitted the report to the federal agency earlier this week. Where it was also hinted that his death was not a case of organic poisoning. However, the CBI sources said nothing and remained tight-lipped on the issue and maintained the agency’s investigating all the angle and no angle has been ruled out.

The agency is conducting a professional investigation of Sushant’s case in which all the aspects are being looked into and no aspect has been ruled out as of date, a CBI spokesperson told in a statement on September 28.

On June 14, Sushant was found dead in the Mont Blanc Apartment in Bandra in Mumbai. His family members raised the suspicious of Sushant being murdered.

The case was registered by the CBI on August 6 on the notification of the Centre after the Bihar government recommended for a federal agency investigation on the complaint of K.K. Singh, the actor’s late father.

On August 20, the CBI team reached Mumbai. A day after the Supreme Court permitted the federal agency investigation. Statements of several people were recorded by the CBI in the vase and also visited the actor’s flat, Waterstone resort and even the Cooper hospital.

The Central Bureau of Investigation questioned Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her family (Brother Show and Father Indrajit Chakraborty) Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda, Siddharth Pithani Sushant’s flatmate and his staff Dipesh Sawant, Neeraj Singh, Keshav Bachne. Apart from the CBI the (NCB) Narcotics Control Bureau and the Enforcement Directorate are investigating the money laundering charge and drugs angle respectively. Rhea, Showik, Sawant and Miranda were arrested in connection with the drug case by the NCB.
