Air Quality deteriorated Near US Consulate in Hyderabad

The air quality around the US Consulate in Hyderabad has deteriorated to a ‘unhealthy’ level, with an AQI of 259. The exploding of firecrackers during Diwali celebrations is blamed for the increase in pollution.

The concentration of PM2.5 in the vicinity of the US Consulate is six times greater than the WHO’s recommended limit.
