Hyderabad: Congress MLA from Sangareddy Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy on Wednesday said there were many eligible leaders in the party to become the next TPCC president.
In an informal interaction with media persons, he said any leader in the party belonging to any community like Reddy, Brahmin, BC, SC, ST, and minority community could become the next TPCC president. He said there were no differences in the party about the poor and rich. He said a BC leader could become TPCC president like senior party leader V Hanumanth Rao, who was a suitable person from the BC community. He reminded that VH had worked as TPCC president in the past.
Jayaprakash Reddy said if the post was given to an SC leader, the party would become strong in the State and added that former deputy chief minister Damodar Raja Narasimha was a suitable candidate for the post from Madiga community. He also said CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was a strong contender for the post from the Mala community. He also said a normal worker of the party like Bolli Kishan was also eligible for the TPCC post.
