Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan mohan Reddy on Sunday asked the officials of the state government to set up coronavirus testing labs in all the districts of the state. He said that the establishment of the testing labs in all the districts of the state had become a necessity in the wake of a gradual increase in the total number of coronavirus cases.
He issued these directions while holding a high-level review meeting on the issue with the officials of the state government at his Tadepally based camp office. The chief secretary of the state Neelam Sawhney, DGP Gautam Sawang, special chief secretary of the medical and health department of the K. Jawahar Reddy and others took part in the review meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagan asked the officials to hold tests on all those who have returned from Delhi after attending the religious congregation and their primary contacts. He also asked the officials to treat all the people, who visit hospitals with corona virus-related symptoms, as suspects and extend proper treatment to them. He also wanted the officials to continue the door to door survey being held across the state.
