Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, IPS, today welcomed Maj. Gen. N Srinivas Rao, Telangana & Andhra Sub Area General Officer Commanding along with his team of Senior Brigadier, Colonel to the office of the Commissioner of Police, Basheer Bagh.
There was a discussion on mutual cooperation regarding internal security. The Commissioner made a presentation about the IT initiatives, citizen friendly policing and other new initiatives which made Hyderabad the best police in the country. The Army Officers’ team was also shown the model technology facility of the Command and Control System, Facial Recognition System, Patrol Service System, Nenu Saitham Project and other initiatives.
In the interaction, Addl. CP L&O, Hyd DS Chauhan, IPS, Addl.CP (Admn), Hyderabad, T Murali Krishna, IPS and Jt.CP Special Branch Tarun Joshi, IPS and all officers of IT Core team participated. Maj. Gen. N Srinivas Rao expressed delight to see such a wonderful facility and said it is one of the best, he has ever seen. (NSS)
