Asia’s biggest housing project at Kollur to be ready by March 2020

Hyderabad: Kollur is one of the biggest and prestigious housing projects taken up in Asia by the GHMC and Housing Department, said Additional Chief Secretary for Housing Chitra Ramachandran here today.

Chitra Ramachandran today inspected the progress of construction of 2BHK housing Scheme at Kollur in Sanga Reddy District where 15,660 2BHK flats are being built in 125 acres with all amenities and infrastructure like water, electricity, drainage, roads, shopping malls, parks, nursing home, school, library, temple, mosque and church, police outpost, fire station, Bus station, parking facility and watchman room in each block and so on.

Speaking on the occasion, the Additional Chief Secretary said it is the dream and vision project coming into realization as desired by Chief Minister  K. Chandrashekhar Rao, which are to be allotted to the below poverty line people, who can live with dignity of self-respect in the State. The work on this project was at brisk space and it will be completed by March 2020 and all precautions are taken while construction is going on like quality check by third Party, quality material, transparency in funding and the paints used are of high quality, she added. She also appreciated the engineering officials and contractor for their quality of work and care taken in construction. Nearly one lakh people will reside at this place once the project is completed.
