Assam To Withdraw All Covid Limitations As Cases drop

As per the latest reports, Assam will pull out all Covid limitations from February 15, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said Monday, referring to a sharp decrease in new cases throughout recent weeks.

“Considering the advancing COVID-19 circumstance, we’ve chosen to pull out all limitations from February 15, however conventions for utilization of veils and sanitisers will proceed,” Mr. Sarma said. There will be no nighttime curfew, and shopping centers and film lobbies can work at the full limit, he said, adding that weddings could be held insofar as visitors are twofold inoculated.

The Chief Minister likewise said school tests and decisions, including a by-survey for the Majuli gathering seat, will be held over the course of the following two months.

“I demand qualified (school) understudies to finish inoculation before the beginning of their tests,” he said.
