Telangana Auto Drivers JAC has given a call to Auto Drivers to put on headlights and drive their vehicles throughout the day on June, 25 in protest against the high cost of petrol and diesel rates and demanding the State Government to provide necessary financial help to Auto Drivers keeping in view of the over one month’s LockDown problems and difficulties. Besides,
the Auto Drivers are also demanding the State Government to formulate necessary guidelines to stop the ever-increasing Private Auto Financiers “Zulum” and harassment.
According to a press statement here today Mohd. Amanullah Khan, Convenor alleged it is a matter of great regret and shame that the Central Government in collusion with the State Governments is going on hiking petrol and diesel rates non-stop which is resulting in a high cost of living.

In view of the above, our JAC has decided to observe “black day” with a difference. The Auto Drivers on the day would put on their vehicle headlights as a novel protest and drive them throughout the day condemning the high cost of petrol and diesel rates.
Further, Khan has appealed to other vehicle drivers of all categories such as taxi, lorry, two-wheeler riders, cars etc., also to put on their vehicle headlights on June, 25 throughout the day and make the “Black Day” protest against the high cost of petrol and diesel rates a great success.
