Telangana Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today said that Fever Survey will help check the Corona and omicron cases surge.
He participated in some developmental programs in the city and claimed that only Telangana state is conducting the fever survey to find the cases and check them. The health staff, he said, was asked to give medical kits to the people with symptoms. In the first day itself lakhs of people were covered with the fever survey and getting medical kits. Allaying fears about the symptoms like fever, cold and related ailments as common, he said that people should not worry or fear.
The Minister said that the state has started a booster dose for the aged persons and those with long term diseases. Booster dose as per Central guidelines is needed to check the virus spread among the people with symptoms, he said.
Srinivas Yadav said that by wearing the masks, sanitizing hands and maintaining social distance the people can stop spreading viruses or infections, the minister said. We need to stop the virus and infections by following protocols as per Central guidelines. The state has achieved 100 percent first dose of vaccination and completed the second dose reaching 80 percent he said. Now that the cases are on rise and to diminish in March, we have to be more careful. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has advised the health staff for vaccination, medical kits and booster doses, he said.
The government will complete its task with people cooperation to cover them with vaccination. The people can prevent the virus and infections by following corona protocols, he said.
