Avoid politics, join fight against Corona : Srinivas Goud tells Oppn leaders

Excise and Sports Minister V Srinivas Goud today said that this is not time to talk politics. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has visited the main hospitals in Hyderabad and Warangal he said. However, the opposition parties are making false charges and hitting out at the Chief Minister.

Talking to presspersons here he said that the opposition parties are trying to misguide the people amid the corona pandemic in the second wave and lockdown.  The Chief Minister is committed to ensuring more facilities, health infrastructure in the hospitals. The hospitals should follow government instructions on the fee structure. It is the responsibility of the chief minister and all the leaders to get confidence among the patients. Since cases rise and fall the government is taking all steps to check the virus spread the minister claimed.

 The minister stated that it is not right to fault the chief minister for visiting Gandhi hospital in Secunderabad and MGM Hospital in Warangal.

The minister said that the opposition parties of the congress and the BJP are trying to spread falsehood.  They cannot misguide the people and instead come forward to fight against the corona cases he said.

The minister said that the government is committed to providing the best treatment and services in the hospitals.  We allotted Rs 100 cr to get more injections, medicines, oxygen, and jabs like Remdesivir to tide over the crisis.

The minister announced that arrangements are being made to use gas to complete final rites at public cemeteries. The opposition is expected to join hands to combat the spread of virus, infections, and deaths related to the Corona pandemic he hoped.

We will tide over the crisis of corona soon as the cases and deaths are coming down gradually he said. The people should cooperate to lockdown and remain safe, he added.
