In a significant step toward strengthening bilateral ties in healthcare and education, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa met with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Education, Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, at Al-Sakhir Palace. The visit marks the formalization of an agreement for the completion of the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Medical City, a landmark collaborative project between the two nations.
The medical city, overseen by the Arabian Gulf University, represents a cornerstone of regional cooperation in the field of medical education and healthcare infrastructure, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Minister Al-Bunyan conveyed greetings and best wishes from Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He emphasized Saudi Arabia’s strong commitment to advancing its enduring partnership with Bahrain, especially in the education sector.
