Hyderabad: Director General of Police VK Singh, IPS, on Wednesday made sensational remarks on the realization of Golden Telangana State. He said Golden Telangana State could never be realized through politics. He also said he would write to the State government to close the printing press as there was no work for him to do.
VK Singh also said the cost of printing at the police was very high and the income it was generating was very less. He said the State government was incurring Rs 50-crore loss due to the printing press. He said the employees of the press also didn’t have any work to do at the press. He said the employees were working for only two hours a day.
VK Singh made these remarks while addressing a meeting here. He said he was ready to work anywhere in the State and recalled that he had brought about several reforms in the Jails department. (NSS)
