VIP Chief Spokesperson, Rajiv Mishra also made a statement in the matter. He said that while they were preparing for the Assembly elections, their party President Mukesh Sahani said that there will be one member from the Nonia cast. And the party has many leaders who represent the caste. However, neither (JDU and BJP) of the parties discussed the matters.  He said that all the members chosen for the MLCs are from their parties.

“It is highly unfair,” said Mishra.

At the same time, JDU Spokesperson Rajiv Rajan also did not seem pleased with the decision. He said that as a spokesperson he has always pointed to the achievements that the party has made in all the platforms. He said that he has always defended the party even when the leaders were falling into the controversies.

Rajan said ignoring a “Kayastha leader” like him was not good.
