Hyderabad: Continuing his tirade against AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao alleged that the former was mingling with Rahul Gandhi to protect himself from his wrong-doings.
Speaking to the media, the BJP leader accused Chandrababu Naidu of amassing money through illegal means. Chandrababu Naidu was behaving like an old adage “Alibaba and chalees chor”. Narasimha Rao also alleged that TDP leader Sujana Chudhary, who amassed Rs 5,700 crore became an “Andhra Malya”. Choudhary may also flee the country like Vijay Malya”, he felt.
The BJP leader said there was no action against Sujana Chudhary, who evaded several crore rupees as tax. “The people have apprehensions whether Chandrababu Naidu was shielding people, who were evading taxes. He also said Chandrababu Naidu made unsuccessful attempt to contest election with TRS. But due to differences on sharing of seats, Naidu abandoned his plan, BJP leader said. (NSS)
