BJP welcomes KCR’s plan to float his national party: BJP RS MP Laxman

Dr K. Laxman, BJP Rajya Sabha member, said on Friday that they welcomed CM KCR’s plans to float his national party. He, on the other hand, stated that his party’s goal was to ensure a clean sweep in Telangana.

Having revealed that TRS MLAs were interested in joining the BJP at the appropriate time, Laxman stated that the decision to welcome them will be made with caution, after careful consideration, and without any preconditions.

Laxman stated that he witnessed “severe anti-incumbency” against the TRS government and its MLAs during his recent visits to rural areas of the state. During a recent trip to Tirupati and other street-corner meetings in rural areas, the BJP MP witnessed similar scenes in Andhra Pradesh.

In an interview with media personnel, Laxman raised the issue of JP Nadda’s term extension, saying the issue had not yet been discussed within the party. Commenting on political alliances in Andhra Pradesh, he stated unequivocally that they would not form a political alliance with the TDP and instead would form an alliance with the Jana Sena party led by actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan.

Commenting on rival party MLAs joining their party in the state, he said the MLAs were telling him that they still needed to join the BJP and that the joining of rival party MLAs would continue in Telangana. In response to his appointment as a member of the party’s parliamentary board, Laxman stated that he would regard the position as equivalent to that of a Union minister and that he was the party’s second Telugu leader to be appointed to the position after M. Venkaiah Naidu.

Targeting the YSRCP government in AP, Laxman stated that there was no government in AP and that the people of the neighboring State yearned for a government led by their party.
