A bomb threat targeting the iconic Taj Mahal has prompted a major security operation by authorities. The threat, received via an official email sent to the Tourism Department, claimed that a bomb had been planted within the premises of India’s most celebrated heritage site. Following this, security measures have been heightened both inside and around the Taj Mahal, with investigations currently underway to trace the sender of the alarming email.
According to officials, the email stated that the bomb was set to explode at 9 a.m., further challenging authorities with the statement, “Stop it if you can.” Upon reading the message, Tourism Department staff immediately alerted higher officials.
