BRS President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will soon unveil the party’s action plan for the nation in Delhi. With agriculture as a top priority, the party will operationalize its Kisan Cells (Bharat Rashtra Kisan Samithi) in several States, said BRS Parliamentary Party leader K Keshava Rao.
Keshava Rao told reporters in Delhi on Friday that Telangana had grown in an unprecedented way, setting new standards for development and welfare. As a result, the BRS will work to replicate the Telangana model in the rest of the country and ensure social and economic justice for the country’s backward sections.
BRS Lok Sabha floor leader Nama Nageshwara Rao stated that the Telangana government had overcome the obstacles constructed by the Centre and developed the State.
He branded the Central Government anti-farmer because it objected to the construction of drying platforms under MGNREGS. He stated that the BRS will work for the welfare and development of all segments of society.

Previously, BRS MPs led by Keshava Rao and Nageshwara Rao called on Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagadeep Dhankar, as well as Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, seeking to change the Parliamentary Party’s name from TRS to BRS. They submitted letters written by the party Chief K Chandrashekhar Rao in response to the ECI’s approval of the TRS renaming as BRS.
Dhankar directed that the procedure be initiated and that the TRSPP be referred to as the BRSPP. Om Birla promised to discuss the issue with officials and take the necessary steps at the earliest.
According to sources, considering the visible development in Telangana following the formation of the new State, there was an overwhelming response from Andhra Pradesh. Around 80 leaders, including leaders from student and farmer unions, have already met with the Chief Minister and have begun field preparations to join the BRS.
