Can’t say anything on TPCC chief change: AICC incharge Tagore

Hyderabad: AICC in charge Manick Tagore today said that he can’t make any comments on the change of the TPCC president in Telangana. In an informal chat with media persons in the city, he talked about Dubbaka by-polls, graduate MLC elections, and the change of guard in the state for the PCC post.

Speaking on the occasion, AICC in-charge Manick Tagore said that their target was 2023 assembly elections. He said that they would fight against the anti-people policies of prime minister Narendra Modi and chief minister of the state KCR.  He also said that they would go ahead in a systematic manner as a team.

Tagore said that the state has efficient leaders and added that all the leaders of the party should follow the instructions of the party. Citing the submission of the representation to all the governors of the country, he said that all the governors of the state had taken their representations except the governor of the state Tamilisai Soundararajan.

He said that the governor had asked them to sent mail their representation by citing COVID 19 virus while noting that the virus is not present in Telangana alone. He said that there should be unity among the leaders of the party. Referring to the extension of support to the TJS president Professor Kodandaram in the upcoming Khammam, Nalgonda, And Warangal graduate MLC elections, he said that they had discussed the issue in the core committee meeting and would take a call on the issue according to its decision.
