Chandrababu should apologize to Dalits: Mothlupally

Hyderabad: Mothkupally Narasimhulu, who was expelled from TDP, today once again came down heavily against AP Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu. He said Naidu launched “Dalit Tejam” program only to attract Dalits and their votes. He also alleged that Chandrababu, who ignored principles of Dr Ambedkar organised Dalit Tejam program just to get their votes. Chandrababu Naidu should tender apology to Dalits, who always believed him, he said.

Mothkupally alleged that he has a threat to his life and Chandrababu Naidu. He has utilized services of Muddu Krishnama Naidu till he became Chief Minister and cast him aside later, he added. He said he would not leave any opportunity to teach a lesson to Chandrababu Naidu. Mothkupally said he would go to Tirumala and pray to Lord Venkateshwara to defeat Chandrababu Naidu in the ensuing elections. Mothkupally said he would contest elections from Aleru constituency in coming elections.

When asked about TDP MP CM Ramesh’s fast for the Kadapa steel plant, Narsimhulu replied that one could observe fast the way Ramesh has been fasting for any length of time. Narsimhulu said he had served the parties for more than three decades as a true follower of NTR. Chandrababu rewarded him with lies and cheating, he said.

Chandrababu’s Dalit Tejam was nothing but an attempt at betrayal and cheating once again, he said. The AP chief minister should apologize to the Dalit communities first and then speak in today’s meeting, Mothkupally added. Narsimhulu pointed out that the TDP under Chandrababu did not nominate a Dalit to the Rajya Sabha. He ignored Dalit leaders in the party like Ravula Kishore, Pratibha Bharati and Pushparaj. The AP CM mortgaged the party to rich industrialists, said Narsimhulu. He said Dalits would teach Chandrababu Naidu a lesson in the upcoming elections.
