CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka writes open letter to CM

CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka today wrote an open letter to the Chief Minister of the state.

In his letter, he told the CM that several families had lost everything due to the deadly Covid virus and urged the CM to announce ex-gratia to more Covid patients, who succumbed to the virus, in order to help their family members.

He asked the Chief Minister as to when it would pay the exgratia to the Covid affected families. Stating that ₹50,000 exgratia is not enough, he demanded the CM to increase the exgratia amount to ₹4 lakh.

Stating that the central government has agreed to pay 75 percent of the total exgratia amount and the state government has agreed to 25 parents of the exgratia amount, he demanded the state government spell out its stand on the issue.
